Emmanuel Pentecostal Church – COVID-19 Safety Plan
Church Measures:
We are limiting the number of people in each Worship Center, by allowing no more then 50 people gathered in each area of worship in accordance with the Government of British Columbia. (BC CDC & WorksafeBC)
No one showing any signs of sickness will be permitted to enter the Church
We are streaming services online so that congregants can watch from home
We have reduced the number of seating in each worship Center by either taping off or moving pews, keeping a distance of 6 feet or more between congregants.
Doors will be opened during services to prevent people from touching the handle
Hand sanitizer will be available for congregants.
Doors will be designated for entrance and exiting.
Offering will be put in a designated offering box (hands free)
The pews, doors, instruments ,pulpit and common surfaces will be sanitized after Morning Service for preparation of the next service of a Sunday
Ushers/Greeters:
Will be responsible to make sure each Worship Center does not exceed 50
Will be responsible to make sure congregants maintain the safe distance (6 Feet)
Will be responsible for congregants entering and leaving the Church in an orderly and proper distanced manner
Ushers will be equipped with masks to wear when on duty
Ushers will not be in contact with congregants, they will speak to the congregants and make sure they make their way to their designated pew.
Ushers will ensure that the bathroom door, handles, and common surfaces will be sanitized after every use
While we encourage congregants to give by e-transfer ushers will ensure the debit machine is sanitized after every use, for those who need to use it.
We will have attendees fill out a form with names and phone numbers of those who are attending the service in each worship Center for contact tracing purposes.
Church Ministry team:
Will be responsible to make sure that Microphones will be sanitized after usage.
Will be responsible for maintaining a 6 foot distance from each other.
Copies of these guidelines will be posted on entrance and exit of building along with caution signs.
