History of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church
- Built in 1889 during the pastorate of Robert Scoullar
- Following the great fire of September 10th, 1898, St. Andrew's Presbyterian allowed the congregations of Holy Trinty Cathedral, St Paul's reformed Episcopal and the Baptist Church to hold their services here while they made plans to rebuild
- Seven more Presbyterian ministers pastored the congretation until the Pentecostals purchased the building in the year of 1948
- A visionary Re. H. O. West was the pastor that authored this move and continued to hold one of the longest pastorates in the history of the buildings
